Signature Events
Throughout the year, AAED hosts a multitude of events statewide that provide professional education and opportunities to connect. These include luncheons, symposiums, mixers and networking events, and academy courses.
In addition, AAED hosts two signature, not to be missed, events each year including the spring conference and the fall forum.
Tribal Economic Innovation Rapid Fire Submissions
In this fun, fast, and dynamic format, five presenters have a maximum of five minutes to present no more than five slides — 5-5-5! Presentations highlight an initiative, program, or project impacting Tribal Communities and economic across Arizona. Submissions should clearly convey the Tribal Community impacted, the topic to be presented, and how it might be of interest to the attendees.
You must be able to present on Thursday, May 29th between 12:00 – 1:15 PM at the 2025 Tribal Symposium at We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort. The deadline to submit is Friday, May 9th and those selected to present will be notified by May 16th.

Conference Session Proposal Form
AAED Conference Session Proposal
Session proposals should address trends and topics that reflect the wide-ranging needs and interests of economic developers in Arizona. AAED also wants to ensure we have a diverse range of speakers and ask that session speakers reflect that commitment. AAED conferences typically have over 150 attendees from communities large and small across Arizona. Attendees are economic developers, educational partners, and private sector representatives from fields like construction, architecture, developers, and engineering companies. Sessions that have a unique format i.e. workshop, breakout groups, small group discussion are encouraged.
