I am a tourism and destination leadership executive with a career spanning private enterprise, state government, and municipal leadership. My work focuses on the intersection of tourism, economic development, and community strategy, helping destinations grow sustainably, engage stakeholders, and achieve long-term economic and community impact. I have led a destination marketing organization at the heart of Arizona’s wine country, transforming it from a pass-through community into a recognized destination. In that role, I strengthened destination identity, built transparent partnerships with tourism stakeholders, and supported historic districts and local businesses to thrive.

Earlier in my career, I founded and led a marketing, advertising, and public relations firm, working with major events and destination assets. I later served in senior community relations leadership at the state level, managing complex public-sector communications and regional partnerships. I am now back in Prescott, where my career began, serving as Economic Development Manager with a focus on community strategy, business vitality, and destination-ready growth. I bring a collaborative, strategic approach to public service and a deep commitment to building thriving, resilient communities and destinations.

Please describe your involvement in AAED.

I have attended Spring and Fall conferences, spoken as a guest speaker at AAED luncheons, presented at Fall Forum, provided raffle items for conferences and hosted events in Cottonwood.

Which committees have you served on?

Rural and Government Affairs Committees.

Why do you want to serve as a member of the AAED Board of Directors?

I have been a member for just about six years. I want to get more involved and offer more of my skills to the organization. I also want to be more valuable in terms of my membership and what areas I can provide value. Thank you for the consideration.
