The Economic Development Services (EDS) team is looking for a highly motivated individual who will play a pivotal role in shaping Peoria’s future by attracting businesses, creating quality jobs, and recruiting important amenities. The Economic Development Project Manager will manage, plan, organize, monitor, review and evaluate economic development projects and programs related to implementing economic development opportunities from inception to completion to impact the quality of life for residents and serve a vibrant community. The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Knowledge of and experience working with healthcare and biotech companies
• Good marketing communications and sales background
• CRM and project management experience
• Good analytical skills to understand numbers and budgets
• Strong writing and speaking skills to prepare proposals and presentations
• Strong organizational skills to maintain records, plan meetings, and report out on progress
• Review documents such as agreements and proposals as well as financial and marketing studies.
