Please describe your involvement in AAED.
I have served on the Board for almost two years, was a committee vice chair, then chair for the Northern Committee, obtained my AZED Pro Certification, and have attended at least one conference a year since becoming a member of AAED in 2021. I have attended the legislative luncheon multiple times, assisted with the coordination of two Northern Summits, presented at two awards ceremonies and serve as a mentor for the mentorship program. I continue to be an advocate for the association and would love to continue my work in promoting Arizona as the state to do business in.
Which committees have you served on?
Northern, Government Affairs, and Spring Conference Committees.
Why do you want to serve as a member of the AAED Board of Directors?
I want to serve on the AAED Board of Directors because I am deeply committed to advancing Arizona’s economic vitality through thoughtful, inclusive, and strategic development. AAED plays a critical role in convening leaders, sharing best practices, and shaping policies that strengthen communities across the state. Serving on the Board would allow me to contribute my experience, perspective, and collaborative approach to support AAED’s mission, elevate the profession of economic development, and help ensure Arizona remains competitive, innovative, and resilient. I am particularly motivated to support professional development, foster strong public-private partnerships, and help guide the organization in addressing both emerging opportunities and long-term challenges facing Arizona’s diverse regions.
