Please describe your involvement in AAED.
I have served as an Advisory Board Member for the past 2 years and as Rural Vice Chair for the past year. I have attended every Spring Conference and Fall Forum since 2018, as well as numerous other events held throughout the year. I have supported AAED membership, leading the way in referrals for new members in 2025. I have advocated for a strong and strategic partnership with Resolution Copper, allowing us to become annual platinum partners and supporting at the highest level. Through our partnership, we have allowed 5 local leaders to also become AAED members to boost the capacity of our local region. Resolution Copper won Economic Development Provider of the Year in 2023.
Which committees have you served on?
Norther Committee (current Chair).
Why do you want to serve as a member of the AAED Board of Directors?
I want to continue my role as a Board Member of AAED to support the mission of AAED while advocating for Rural Arizona, the Copper Corridor, and the Mining Industry. I aim to bring collaboration state-wide, while bringing together communities and stakeholders that share common challenges and goals. I strive to educate my colleagues and support the next generation of the economic development pipeline in Arizona. I bring a unique perspective to the field of economic development, as the extractive industry and critical minerals play a vital role in the economic future of Arizona.
