SANTA CRUZ RIVER RESTORATION MASTER PLAN: OSO WASH TO GREEN VALLEY

The Sonoran Institute seeks proposals from qualified firms to develop a comprehensive restoration master plan for the Santa Cruz River from Oso Wash to Green Valley, Arizona. This federally-funded project through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) administered by the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona (WIFA) will identify a management strategy for water deliveries and restoration activities to optimize habitat restoration, connectivity, and social benefits.
Scope: The project includes: (1) Conservation Opportunity Study; (2) Management and Restoration Strategy; (3) Detailed River Restoration Designs; and (4) Final Comprehensive Master Plan.
Period of Performance: 10 months from contract execution. Final deliverable due May 31, 2026.
Budget: Not to exceed $400,000.
Minimum Requirements: Experience in river restoration planning, environmental design, and watershed management. Active federal UEI number required.
Proposal Submission: Five (5) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy on thumb drive must be received by 3:00 p.m. MST on June 16, 2025. No electronic or fax submissions accepted.
