WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY?

Your event registration serves as your guarantee for service and AAED’s guarantee for payment. Cancellations must be received 72 business hours in advance of the event for you to be eligible for a refund. No refunds are allowed past the deadline; however a substitute individual may attend as long as they are from the same company. Please note that payment for a registration must be received in full prior to the event date. If you have any questions please call AAED at 602-240-2233 or email info@aaed.com

CAN I TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION TO ANOTHER PERSON?

Yes. If you are are unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to someone from your same company. If you wish to transfer your registration, please contact info@aaed.com.

CAN I REGISTER ON-SITE?

We highly discourage registering on-site as we have already submitted final counts to the venue. If there is space available or if another attendee cancels last minute, however, we will take walk-ups on a first come, first served basis.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE EVENT BECOMES SOLD OUT?

Our registration database allows us to start a waiting list after the maximum capacity of attendees is reached. You will be placed on the waiting list. Once someone cancels a registration, you will be added to the attendee list in the order of when you were added to the waiting list.

WHAT IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER?

For most events, the deadline to register for our events is the Friday before each event. However, there are situations where we need to close registration a week prior to the event. Please check each registration page for deadlines.

CAN NON-AAED MEMBERS ATTEND EVENTS?

Yes, non-members can attend all AAED events, with the exception of our Member Celebration that typically takes place in June. To register for an event as a non-member, there is a ticket option on the registration pages specifically for non-members. As a member benefit, members pay less for each event than non-members. WHY DO THE CONFERENCES HAVE DIFFERENT TICKET ITEMS FOR DIFFERENT TIMES FRAMES?

We encourage all our attendees to register early for each of our events so we have an accurate count of those attending. We increase the ticket prices of the conferences to align with the deadlines of the venue so as the conference gets closer, the ticket price increases.

WILL THE EVENT BE RECORDED?

Currently, AAED does not have the ability to record every event. We are testing this functionality and will provide information on the event page if recordings will be accessible.

WHY ISN'T THE MEMBER RATE SHOWING FOR ME?

The member rate will only show up on the registration page if you are logged into your AAED account. If you need help accessing your username or password, please click on “Forgot Your Username or Password” on the registration page. In addition, you can email info@aaed.com for your username. Please note, AAED does not have access to members’ passwords.

HOW DO I APPLY A PROMO CODE TO A REGISTRATION?

When you get to the payment portion of the registration form for an event, there will be a section to apply a promo code. You will enter the promo code provided and it should automatically deduct the amount of the promo code. For any issues applying the promo code, please contact info@aaed.com

HOW DO I VIEW MY RECEIPT OR INVOICE FOR AN EVENT?

If you are an AAED member, you can login to your account on the website. Once you are in the Info Hub, you can select the “My Billing Info” tab on the left side of the page. In the Billing Info section, you can make an outstanding payment on an invoice or view the billing history using the tabs at the top of the page.

For non-AAED members, please contact info@aaed.com to obtain your receipt or invoice.

WHO SHOULD I CONTACT IF I'M INTERESTED IN SPONSORING AN EVENT OR LEARNING MORE ABOUT SPONSORSHIPS?

Our event registration pages do allow you to sign on as a sponsor. In addition, you can contact the AAED office at info@aaed.com or call 602-240-2233.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE A DIETARY RESTRICTION?

AAED includes a dietary restriction question on the registration page for each event that includes a meal. You can select between our 3 most popular options, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. If you have a different dietary restriction, you have the capability to type in your own preference. AAED does the best to accommodate every dietary restriction we are aware of.

If you have already registered for an event and forgot to select your dietary restriction, please contact info@aaed.com as soon as possible.  

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR YOUR EVENTS?

Most of our events are business casual.

Our EDDE Awards Banquet during the Spring Conference has a dress code that changes each year. We will indicate on the Spring Conference registration page the dress code for the EDDE’s as the event gets closer.
