Currently, she is pursuing her CEcD certification, the industry’s standard of excellence.
Please describe your involvement in AAED.
I have been heavily involved in the AAED since I started my career in economic development in 2019. I was chair of the Northern Committee and, in that time, helped with two successful events — a Mayoral Roundtable in Prescott and a Water Workshop in Payson. I have won two awards, one EDDE and a Golden Prospector award, and I volunteer to participate wherever I can. For example, I am helping the Northern Committee plan our 2025 Mayoral Roundtable. I attend both the Spring Conference and Fall Forum, and when available, I attend evens that happen down south. I have enjoyed my time on the board and am hoping to continue to support AAED, everything it represents, and the privilege to continue to provide leadership at the board level.
Which committees have you served on?
I am a past chair of the Rural Committee and an active member of the Rural and Government Affairs Committees.
Why do you want to serve as a member of the AAED Board of Directors?
AAED has done so much for my career in economic development. Without it, I would not be where I am in my career. I believe in the mission and goals of AAED, and I very much want to continue as a leader on the board to ensure that it stays the wonderful AAED that it is and strives to always make it better.
