Please describe your involvement in AAED.

Currently, I am the Co-Vice Chair of the Greater Phoenix Events Committee (GPEC). This is my third year in this role, and before that, I was a committee member for one year. I am also in my third year as a Government Affairs Committee (GAC) member. I have been very involved with both committees. I have helped ideate and create from the ground up many events for the GPEC, and have recruited speakers, formed themes, and spearheaded planning for every event I have been involved with. I am incredibly proud of my work with GPEC. I have helped the GAC committee with the Legislative Lunch on the Lawn this year, and that was a huge success. I am invested and love to watch AAED events grow and achieve success, as economic development in the State of Arizona is very important to me and my business. In the years since I have been a member of AAED, I have sponsored events, attended tons of events including Spring Conference and Fall Forum, and have also achieved my AZED Pro!

Which committees have you served on?

Greater Phoenix Events Committee and Government Affairs Committee.

Why do you want to serve as a member of the AAED Board of Directors?

I am completely invested in AAED. AAED is important to my business and has truly helped me grow my network for business development in Arizona. It has also connected me with other business opportunities outside of Arizona. I feel that AAED is the only organization in Arizona that truly understands how to create cohesive relationships in economic development and grow the economy at the same time. I have learned so much by being a member and participating on committees, attending events, and becoming an AZED Pro. I am excited to join the board of directors so I can help grow the organization and be a part of the decision-making for the future of AAED and the economic health of the State of Arizona. I think I will make a good board member with my background in marketing and business development and my depth of community engagement. I am quite adept at connecting people and business, and I will enjoy continuing to do this for AAED in my role as a member of the board of directors. I look forward to working with the firm, smart, and hard-working board that is currently in place and learning from each of these important members.
